My Background
I am Vishal, a common guy with an uncommon attitude towards life. I wish I could work in a field were my actions influence other people. I have a keen desire to do something worthwhile in life, not just for myself and for my family but for people beyond that. I would consider myself to be lucky enough if I would be able to make at least some improvement in lives of at least a few people. I want to pay back to the society which has done so much for us. With GetVidya my desire to give back to the society has found a way and I am focusing all my energy in here!
I was born and brought up in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. My proficiency in Hindi is one of the gifts of this place. This place is famous for leather goods, it has the biggest leather industry in India. Kanpur was the hub during the Indian struggle for independence, this makes this place of national importance. The place is also famous for IIT Kanpur and various other eye catching monuments.
I have completed by my dual degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Bombay, India with specialization in Computer Aided Design & Automation. After 5 years of my stay at IIT Bombay, I can say that this is one hell of a place to live in. I am a completely different person as compared to what I was before coming here. I have transformed in so many ways I myself don't know. This place has inculcated in me the confidence to do even the toughest of the tasks. This place has transformed me from a simple boy to a fighter to the core. No matter where I live, no matter what I do, the experience and knowledge that I have acquired here will always help me perform my best. This place has cured me, nurtured me and made me a better person for the rest of my life. Thanks IITB, for all that you have given to me, I wish I could pay back some of it by doing something for you. Hats off to this place!!!

About Me
Now, coming to my habits, likes and dislikes, there is a lot to tell. But cutting the long story short, I would say that I like meeting new people, talking to them and figuring out how can I help them and improve their lives. One thing that I liked most was passing time with my folks, being away from my home I miss them very much.
I like working out and keeping my body in shape. Gymming is one thing I enjoy a lot, it keeps me fresh and energetic. I have also got prizes and recognition in sports involving raw strength like powerlifting etc. I believe that gymming helps me in being more calm and relaxed in addition to imparting a fabulous feel of myself.
